Monica N. A. Senanu

Monica N. A. Senanu was appointed Director, Legal of Ghana Grid Company Limited in 2010.

She is responsible for all the legal matters across a wide range of projects; operations, procurement, and regulatory matters of the company. She was Secretary to the Transitional Management Team for the operationalization of GRIDCo in 2008 and was, previously Senior Legal Counsel at Volta River Authority (VRA). Prior to her time at VRA, she worked at Africa Legal Aid (AFLA) – an international Human Rights NGO – and at Sam Okudzeto & Associates as a Legal Practitioner. Monica has a Law degree (LLB) from the University of Ghana, a Qualified Certificate in Law from the Ghana School of Law, and an Executive MBA from the University of Ghana Business School (UGBS).

She is a member of the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators (UK) and a Notary Public.
