Alison Barnard is an award-winning international communication and engagement leader, holding dual citizenship in the USA and Australia. They have extensive experience in media relations, stakeholder engagement, and crisis communication within government and public sectors, having served in various senior roles, including Deputy Director of the COVID-19 Response Communication Team at NSW Health and Technical Director at GHD. Alison's career also includes significant roles at the U.S. Department of State, where they advised on public diplomacy strategies, and at Four Communications, leading major government and corporate accounts in the Middle East. Currently, Alison serves as a Board Member for Regional Development Australia (RDA) Sydney while pursuing degrees in English, Political Science, and Broadcast Journalism.
