Ben Watkins

Ben Watkins is a Lead Engineer at GHD since November 2019, bringing extensive experience in mechanical engineering. Previously, Ben served as a Senior Engineer at General Dynamics Electric Boat from July 2017 to September 2019, where responsibilities included reviewing Mechanical Shock and Environmental Vibration Procedures and Test Reports for various submarine classes, ensuring compliance with military standards, and collaborating with engineers to implement cost-effective qualification methods. Prior to that, Ben worked as an Engineer 2.II at O'Brien & Gere from June 2010 to July 2017, focusing on the design and implementation of mechanical systems within interdisciplinary projects and conducting on-site experimental pilot studies. Ben holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering from Binghamton University, completed in 2010.
