Christian Baechler

Christian Baechler is an experienced Project Engineer and Americas Service Line Leader for Power Generation at GHD, with a career spanning over a decade in engineering and construction. Since October 2011, Christian has been involved in engineering design, contract administration, and construction inspections for diverse projects, including wastewater treatment, power generation, and energy facilities. Prior to this, Christian served as a Research Associate at Queen's University Applied Sustainability Research Group, focusing on converting domestic plastic waste for 3D printing applications, and as a Project Manager for a first-year engineering design course at Queen's University, where direction was provided on project management and design processes. Christian also gained early experience as a Building Analyst Intern at Mindscape Innovations Group, developing tools for residential energy efficiency assessment. Educationally, Christian holds a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering and a Bachelor of Arts in Global Development Studies, both from Queen's University.
