Coenraad Pretorius

Coenraad Pretorius is a seasoned technical director at GHD since December 2018, with extensive experience in environmental engineering and process design. Previous roles include senior environmental engineer at CDM Smith, focusing on water resource recovery facilities, and process specialist at Carollo Engineers, where significant advancements in plant designs and process modeling were achieved. Early career positions included process engineer roles at Wates, Meiring & Barnard, specializing in municipal wastewater treatment, and junior engineer at Steffen, Robertson & Kirsten, working on water conservation projects. Coenraad holds a B. Eng. in Chemical Engineering from Stellenbosch University, a B. Sc. (Hons) in Microbiology from the University of Cape Town, and a B. Sc. in Genetics, Biochemistry & Microbiology from Stellenbosch University.
