Rebecca Varga-Schembri

Rebecca Varga-Schembri is a Senior Geotechnical Engineer at GHD since January 2022, previously a Geotechnical Engineer and Assistant Geotechnical Engineer at JBA Consulting from August 2019 to December 2021. Earlier experience includes a role as Architect & Civil Engineer at SAS Malta from November 2017 to August 2018 and an Internship as an Architecture Student at (X,Y,Z) Architecture & Design from July 2015 to October 2017, focusing on interior layout design and structural detail drawings. Academic qualifications include an MSc in Geotechnical Engineering from Newcastle University, a Bachelor's Degree in Built Environment Studies from the University of Malta, and a Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering from Brno University of Technology, along with a Diploma in Design Foundation Studies from the University of Malta. Additionally, Varga-Schembri served as Vice President of the ICE Student Chapter Malta from June 2016 to June 2017.
