Sandra McGaghran is an accomplished geotechnical engineer with extensive experience in leading multi-disciplinary projects. From 2013 to 2020, they served as an Associate and Senior Geotechnical Engineer at Golder Associates, managing key projects for the Ministry of Transportation, Ontario, and various municipalities. Currently, they are the Associate and Ontario Geotechnical and Tunnel Business Group Leader at GHD, where they oversee a diverse team and lead significant projects, including notable tunneling initiatives. Sandra holds a Master’s degree in Geotechnical Engineering from Western University and a Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering from the University of Waterloo, and is currently furthering their education at Harvard Business School.
