Sofie van Volsem

Sofie Van Volsem is a Senior Research & Valorization Expert specializing in Optimization and Simulation in Manufacturing at Ghent University, where responsibilities include coordinating the research track within the Industrial Systems Engineering group. Concurrently, Sofie serves as a Senior Consultant, Trainer, and Auditor at Amelior, focusing on QHSE management to promote sustainable excellence. Sofie has also held roles as a Visiting Professor at HOGENT, an Expert for the European Climate, Infrastructure and Environment Executive Agency, and previously worked in various quality management positions across multiple organizations, including UZ Gent, Plasman, and Recticel.
