Maria Balafoutis

Maria Balafoutis has a diverse work experience spanning several companies and roles. Maria started their career in 1995 as a Lawyer at Gariépy, Marcoux, Richard, Dubois, s.e.n.c. Maria then joined CMC Electronics Inc. in 1999 as a Legal Counsel until 2003 when they became a Supervisor, Commercial Services. Maria worked at CMC Electronics until 2010, during which they held the role of Senior Manager, Commercial Services starting from an unspecified date. From 2010 to 2020, Maria worked at CMC Electronics as a Compliance Officer. In August 2020, they joined GHGSat Inc. as the Director of Legal & Contracts, where they currently hold the position.

Maria Balafoutis completed their DEC in Social Sciences at Collège de l'Assomption from 1989 to 1991. Maria then went on to pursue a LLB in Law at Université de Montréal from 1991 to 1994.
