Henry Ellis

Henry Ellis has a strong background in design and development within the hospitality industry. Henry started their career as a Design & Development Associate at The Standard Hotels and later moved on to work as a Design & Development Associate at André Balazs Properties. In these roles, they managed design teams, coordinated with contractors and financial partners, and oversaw various projects. Henry then became the Studio Director and part of the founding team at Gachot Studios, where they led the studio and worked on notable projects such as the Shinola Hotel and Glossier Flagship. Henry'smost recent position was as Chief Operating Officer and Partner at Ghia, a non-alcoholic apéritif company.

Henry Ellis attended Wesleyan University where they obtained a B.A. with High Honors in Urban Studies. Henry also participated in the New York/Paris Program at Columbia University Graduate School of Architecture, Planning & Preservation, focusing on Architecture & Urban Design.
