Dr. Masuma Ahmed, PhD

Dr. Masuma Ahmed, PhD has a diverse and extensive work experience spanning several organizations and roles. Starting in 1994, Dr. Ahmed worked at Cable Labs as a Project Manager and Chief Architect, leading the initiatives for the North American CATV MSOs and instrumental in the creation of the $10B high-speed cable data market. From 1996 to 1997, they worked at Motorola (formerly Terayon Communications Inc.) as a Director, where they created markets for high-speed cable data products and managed the full life cycle of high-speed CATV data products.

Dr. Masuma then joined Astrolink (Liberty Media / Lockheed Martin Venture) in 1997 as a Director, before moving on to Lockheed Martin in 2000, where they served as a Senior Manager and Chief Architect. At Lockheed Martin, they were responsible for managing strategic technology projects and served as a key architect.

In 2010, Dr. Ahmed joined Comcast as a Senior Director, leading a portfolio of strategic technology projects and transforming consistently underperforming projects and organizations. Dr. Masuma developed digital multi-media product and branding strategies and frameworks.

In 2013, they became an Alumni Member of the Entrepreneurship and Executive Leadership Program at SUNY, Levin Institute. In this role, Dr. Ahmed provided strategic counseling to investment and startup companies on market, business, and technology strategies. Dr. Masuma developed strategic market and technology research papers on various markets, including CATV/Telecom, CDN, Cloud-based SaaS, and Mobile Video Games.

Most recently, Dr. Ahmed has been serving as the Director of the Board at General Human Outreach in the Community (GHO) since January 2015.

Throughout their career, Dr. Masuma Ahmed has exhibited expertise in strategic planning, market research, product development, branding, and project management, making valuable contributions in various industries.
