Berkay Deniz Ilhan

Berkay Deniz Ilhan has worked in the robotics industry since 2012. Berkay Deniz began as a Contracting Engineer Consultant at Robolit in 2012. In 2016, they became a Senior Roboticist at COSY - Cognitive Operational Systems, LLC. The following year, they took on the role of Lead Roboticist at COSY - Cognitive Operational Systems, Inc. In 2018, they simultaneously held the roles of Postdoctoral Fellow at the University of Pennsylvania and CTO at Augean Robotics. Most recently, in 2020, they began working at Ghost Robotics as Head of Electronics & Firmware, Head of Firmware, and Staff Engineer.

Berkay Deniz Ilhan began their education in 1999 at Çanakkale Fen Lisesi, where they earned their High School Diploma in 2002. Berkay Deniz then attended Boğaziçi University, where they earned a Bachelor's Degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering in 2007. Finally, they attended the University of Pennsylvania, where they earned their Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in 2018.
