Dina Wang

Partner, Los Angeles at ghSMART

Dina is a Partner at ghSMART, where she advises private equity investors and Fortune 500 companies on their most pressing leadership challenges, including talent assessment, top team effectiveness, and organizational change initiatives.

Prior to joining ghSMART, Dina was a consultant at McKinsey & Company, where for six years she advised CEOs and senior executives of biopharmaceutical companies on issues related to corporate strategy, organizational transformation, and marketing effectiveness. In addition to client work, Dina co-led McKinsey’s Business Analyst program in Boston as part of the People Leadership Team, and was a key member of the Learning Team in New York, where she helped develop new curricula for incoming consultants.

Dina is also a former fellow of the Forum for Growth and Innovation at Harvard Business School, where she worked with Professor Clayton Christensen studying disruptive innovation in healthcare and professional services. She is co-author of the article, “Consulting on the Cusp of Disruption,” which was published in Harvard Business Review, and has been cited by The Economist, The American Bar Association, and dozens of management journals and blogs.

Dina graduated with distinction from Harvard Business School, and from Harvard College magna cum laude with an A.B. in Chemistry. She currently lives with her husband and daughter in Santa Barbara.
