Joel Smoot

Joel Smoot is currently the Principal at ghSMART. Prior to that, they were an Engagement Manager at McKinsey & Company from September 2016 to September 2020. Joel has also held positions at the United States Senate, Washington Nationals, and U.S. House of Representatives. Joel began their career as a Conservation and Land Management Intern at the National Park Service.

Joel Smoot received a Master of Public Policy from Harvard Kennedy School and a B.A. Honors from University of Wisconsin-Madison, graduating with distinction in Political Science and Zoology.
