Louis Chambers

Louis Chambers is an Associate Partner at ghSMART and leads the firm’s Australia practice. Louis partners with boards, CEOs and investors to hire and develop leadership teams that accelerate value creation. They call him and ghSMART for thought partnership in the moments that matter: building high-performing leadership teams, nailing leadership transitions, making high-stakes hires, giving tough feedback, and coaching senior leaders and investors.

Prior to joining ghSMART, Louis was an Engagement Manager at McKinsey & Company, where he led at-scale enterprise transformations and ran commercial diligences for European private equity. Louis also helped refine McKinsey’s thought leadership on productivity, talent and the Future of Work in the UK. Before McKinsey, Louis worked on climate change and energy policy globally, including co-founding New Zealand’s zero carbon advocacy group, Generation Zero.

Initially trained as a lawyer, Louis holds an LLB (First Class Honors) and BA (Economics) from Otago University and dual masters from Oxford University (Economics for Development, Public Policy), where he was a Rhodes Scholar. He lives in London with his wife and children and is moving to Sydney in 2023.
