Michael Hall

Michael Hall is the current Principal at ghSMART. Prior to this, they worked as a Project Leader at Boston Consulting Group from July 2018 to October 2020. Before that, they were a PhD Graduate Student at the University of Michigan from August 2013 to April 2018, where they completed their PhD dissertation research assessing the role of context on political information processing. Michael also published their research in several top-tier journals within Social Psychology and regularly presented research at conferences and invited talks. Prior to this, they worked as a Research Associate at UCSF Osher Center for Integrative Medicine from June 2011 to June 2013, where they supported and was a primary point of contact for hundreds of research participants in several NIH-funded, multi-year clinical trials addressing obesity, Type II diabetes, and chronic pain. Michael also analyzed cardiovascular data from human subjects to quantify the success of a behavioral intervention program for obesity. Michael Hall has also worked as a Finance Manager at Tufts Student Resources from August 2010 to May 2011.

Michael Hall received their PhD in Social Psychology from the University of Michigan. Michael also holds a B.S. in Psychology from Tufts University. Prior to that, they attended Redwood High School in the TUHSD.

Michael Hall reports to Geoff Smart, Chairman & Founder. They work with Jennifer Elder - Executive Assistant, Rayna Zacks - Principal, and Brenda Polk - Executive Assistant.
