Robert Williams

Robert Williams is an experienced executive with a strong background in the leather goods and luxury brand industry. Currently serving as President for Ghurka since May 2023, Robert is leading the company through a pivotal transition from direct-to-consumer to a business-to-business expansion. Previously, Robert founded and held the position of President at BOCONI Bags & Leather from 2010 to 2023. Other notable roles include managing partnerships and serving as Managing Director at knomo UK / Gonz Ltd., where Robert collaborated with industry leaders such as Charlie Clifford and Larry Lein. Robert also held executive roles at Johnston & Murphy, Lodis Corporation, and Hartmann Luggage, amassing significant expertise in sales and development over a career spanning several decades. Robert earned a BSBA in Marketing from the University of South Carolina and a Fluency Certificate in German from the University of Salzburg.
