Hagen Wenzek Dr.

Hagen Wenzek Dr. has a diverse work experience spanning various industries and roles. Hagen is currently serving as the CEO of GI Digital, a position they have held since November 2020. Prior to this, Hagen co-founded and served as the Managing Director and Chief Innovation Officer of CorporateHealth International ApS, a healthcare services company, starting from August 2013. Hagen also co-founded and strategized for Project Ipsilon, a venture that used music to measure brain fitness, starting from June 2017. Hagen has also worked as a Senior Advisor for FOS Advisors, LLC since February 2014. Hagen founded Freestyle Consulting LLC in October 2013, where they helped start-ups scale and supported large corporations in innovation. In addition, Hagen has held advisory board positions for Unified Social from July 2013 to March 2020, Datorama from February 2014 to August 2018, and Jet Networks, Inc. from May 2014 to February 2018. Hagen is also a member of the Board of Advisors for THE HEALTH CAPTAINS CLUB - "Club of Cos" #LeadershipCompass for sustainable Health = SMART HEALTH, starting from August 2020. Hagen's expertise lies in healthcare services, innovation, entrepreneurship, and advisory roles.

Hagen Wenzek Dr. obtained their Abitur (high school diploma) in English and Math from Beethoven-Gymnasium Bonn in 1989. Hagen went on to attend RWTH Aachen University from 1988 to 1995, where they received a Diploma (Master) degree in Electrical Engineering. During their time at RWTH Aachen University, from 1991 to 1993, Hagen also pursued a degree in Economics.

Afterward, Hagen enrolled at FernUniversität in Hagen, where they pursued a Doctorate in Electrical Engineering from 1997 to 1999.

In terms of additional certifications, Hagen obtained certifications in Biomedical Human Subjects, GCP for Clinical Trials with Investigational Medical Devices, and Research HIPAA. These certifications were acquired from the CITI Program, with Biomedical Human Subjects and GCP certifications obtained in January 2023, and the Research HIPAA certification obtained in December 2022.
