Mike Boutillette

Mike Boutillette has over 20 years of experience in the medical device industry. Mike began their career in 2000 as a Test Engineer at BioValve Technologies. In 2001, they joined Boston Scientific as an R&D Engineer II. In 2006, they were hired as a Sr R&D Engineer at PneumRx. From 2009 to 2013, they were a R&D Project Manager and Quality Engineering Manager at Cardiokinetix. In 2013, they moved to Invuity Inc. as a Senior Manager Engineering. From 2015 to 2018, they were the VP Engineering & Co-founder at Aperture Diagnostics. In 2018, they became the Senior Manager of the R&D group at BioTrace Medical Inc. and the Director of Technology and Product Development at PAVmed Inc. and Lucid Diagnostics, Inc. (a subsidiary of PAVmed, Inc). Finally, in 2022, they were hired as the Director of Research & Development at GI Windows Surgical. Additionally, they have worked as a self-employed consultant from 2016 to 2018, providing services such as process validation, test method validation, technology assessment, design contribution, device documentation, DHF/DMR creation, project management, and design control & risk management systems implementation.

Mike Boutillette obtained a Bachelor of Science in Biomedical/Medical Engineering from Worcester Polytechnic Institute between 1996 and 2000.
