Margaret Bradford has had a long and varied career in the field of education and social services. Margaret began their career in 1967 as a Child Welfare Case Worker for Florence Social Services, where they were responsible for overseeing the Head Start Program and had cases in Adoptive Services, Protective Services, Unwed Mothers, Family Therapy, and Child Abuse. In 1970, they became a teacher for the Peasanton School District. In 2002, they began teaching hiking classes to adults for the Mt. Diablo Unified School District. In 2011, they founded Healthy Steps, where they currently offer hiking in the Bay Area open spaces in varying degrees of difficulty. In 2012, they became a Consultant for GIA Wellness, where they work with a technology that activates water to transform its molecular structure from a cluster into a linear formation so that it is more easily absorbed in the body, flushes toxins, and enhances the absorption of nutrients.

Margaret Bradford obtained a BA in Anthropology from the University of California, Berkeley between 1961 and 1963. Margaret then went on to pursue a M.A. in Clinical Psychology from John F. Kennedy University between 1980 and 1983. In addition, they obtained an MA in Transpersonal Psychology from the same university between 1979 and 1983.
