Matt Morabito

Matt Morabito currently serves as Senior Director of Market Development for North America at the Gemological Institute of America since May 2022, having previously held the role of Director of Business Development. Prior to GIA, Matt was at Tiffany & Co. from September 2017 to April 2022, where responsibilities included serving as Senior Director and Store Director, as well as Training Manager, focusing on training programs for retail employees. Earlier experience includes being a Territory Manager at Hearts On Fire, where Matt managed marketing and sales in the Eastern Mid-West, and a Senior Manager at Michaels Jewelers, overseeing flagship operations. Initial roles included General Manager and Sales Professional at Michaels Jewelers, and a Graphic Designer at Southbury Printing Centre, where leadership of the design department occurred. Matt also contributed as an Assistant Wrestling Coach at Derby High School, playing a key role in leading teams to championships. Educational background includes a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Fine Arts/Graphic Design from Paier College of Art Inc.
