Ryan Waddell is an accomplished professional in instructional design and operations with a robust background spanning over two decades. Currently serving as Manager of Instructional Design Operations at the Gemological Institute of America since October 2013, Ryan has significantly improved operational efficiency and productivity through the development of streamlined processes and a comprehensive curriculum development manual. Prior experience includes roles at Panasonic Avionics Corporation as Curriculum Developer II, where Ryan tailored content to audience needs, and at Kratos Defense and Security Solutions as Associate Instructional Systems Designer, focusing on creating impactful e-learning solutions. Earlier, Ryan served in the US Navy as Lead Instructor and Course Manager, specializing in naval training coursework and course logistics.
