Amy Yuyun Ying has a diverse work experience starting from their role as President in the Volunteering Department at Red Cross, where they led a committee in organizing volunteering activities and raising awareness of AIDS prevention. Amy Yuyun then went on to volunteer in the Manchester Leadership Program. Later, they worked as a Correspondent & Translator for Xinhua News Agency, covering news stories and translating them from Chinese to English. Following that, Amy served as a Corporate Relations Intern at London & Partners, where they assisted with organizing official visits, meetings, and business summits. Currently, they hold multiple roles at GIADA S.p.A, including Human Resources Director and Manager, as well as previously working as a Management Trainee.

Amy Yuyun Ying completed their education in a chronological order. From 2010 to 2011, they were an exchange student at The University of Manchester, where they studied Social Sciences. In 2012, they enrolled at the University of Cambridge and obtained a Master of Philosophy (MPhil) degree in Development Studies by 2013. Prior to that, Amy attended Zhejiang University from 2008 to 2012, earning a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree in English Language and Literature.
