Victor has held various positions at Giant Eagle, Inc., including Vice President of Safety, Regulatory & Government Affairs, Vice President of Enterprise Safety & Healthcare Compliance, and Vice President, Risk & Chief Compliance Officer. Prior to their tenure at Giant Eagle, Vercammen served as Senior Director of Quality Assurance and Regulatory Affairs at GENCO and Director of Quality and Regulatory Affairs at Genco Pharmaceutical Services. Victor also held positions at SuperValu and Albertsons, where they focused on pharmacy operations, government relations, and managed care operations.
Victor Vercammen earned their Pharm.D. degree from the University of Illinois Chicago from 1990 to 1996. In 2008, they completed an Exec Cert in the GSK Executive Management Program for Pharmacy Leaders at The Wharton School. Furthermore, they obtained the ISO 13485 Internal Auditor certification from RABSQA in May 2014.
