Associate Director Of Human Resources at Giant Noise

Annie Ousey, SHRM-CP, has a diverse work experience spanning multiple industries. Annie began their career as an Assistant Manager and Face Painter at Personality Portraits from 2009 to 2012. From 2011 to 2015, they worked at Milwaukee Institute of Art & Design, first as an Admissions Assistant and later as a Teacher's Assistant.

In 2014, Annie interned at the Milwaukee Artist Resource Network before moving on to the Betty Brinn Children's Museum, where they served as the Manager of Visitor Services & Coordinator of Family Focus Program from November 2015 to April 2016.

Annie returned to Milwaukee Institute of Art & Design in 2016, this time as an Admissions Office Manager. In October 2017, they also took on the role of Pre-College Teacher. Annie continued in these positions until June 2018.

Following their time at the institute, Annie worked at the Rawson Saunders School as the Executive Assistant to the Head of School from July 2018 to March 2020.

Annie then rejoined Giant Noise in March 2020 as a Special Projects Manager for a brief period before transitioning to the role of Business Development & Office Administrator from September 2020 to July 2021. Annie was subsequently promoted to the position of Associate Director of Human Resources in July 2021, where they currently work.

Additionally, Annie held the position of Bartender/Waitress at The Irish Pub from May 2013 to July 2017.

Throughout their career, Annie has gained experience in various roles, including recruitment, administration, teaching, and customer service.

Annie Ousey, SHRM-CP, earned a Bachelor of Fine Arts (BFA) degree from the Milwaukee Institute of Art & Design between the years 2011 and 2015. Later, they pursued an Associate's Degree in Business Administration and Management, General from Austin Community College starting from 2020. Additionally, they obtained a Human Resource Management Certificate from The University of Texas at Austin in January 2023, and they also received the SHRM - Certified Professional (SHRM-CP) certification in January 2023.
