Shamika S.

Shamika S. began their work experience in 2015 with an internship at Ernest & Young in Dubai, UAE. During this internship, they received on-the-job training on assisting clients and providing insurance schemes. In 2018, they worked as an assistant to the manager at Gulf for Good, a company that collaborated with charitable organizations. Shamika learned about social events in the UAE and provided services to members participating in these events. In the same year, they also served as a student editor at Al Diyafah High School Dubai, where they edited news boards and articles and managed yearbook responsibilities. In 2021, Shamika took on the role of a Human Resources Assistant at GAOTek Inc., where they were responsible for headhunting candidates, screening resumes, and conducting interviews and inductions. Currently, in 2022, they are employed as a Sales Assistant at Giatec | Smart Construction Solutions.

Shamika S. completed their high school education from Al Diyafah High School, graduating with a High School Diploma in 2019. During their time there, they pursued IGCSE, AS and A Levels.

After high school, they enrolled at the Telfer School of Management at the University of Ottawa in 2019 and is expected to complete their Bachelor's degree in International Business by 2023.

In addition to their formal education, Shamika S. obtained a verified certificate for Introduction to Marketing from edX in September 2018.
