Andrew Legrand

Andrew LeGrand is a distinguished legal professional with extensive experience in both private practice and academia. Currently a Partner at Gibson, Dunn & Crutcher LLP since September 2012, Andrew has also served as an Associate Attorney at the same firm. In addition to legal practice, Andrew held the position of Adjunct Professor at UNT Dallas College of Law from January 2018 to May 2023. Previous experience includes clerking for judges in the Federal Judiciary from August 2010 to August 2012 and working as an Associate Attorney at Gibson, Dunn & Crutcher from November 2009 to August 2010. Early in the career, Andrew completed an internship at the NAACP Legal Defense and Educational Fund, Inc. Moreover, Andrew holds a Juris Doctor from Columbia Law School and advanced degrees in Higher and Postsecondary Education from Teachers College, Columbia University, along with a Bachelor's Degree in English Language and Literature and African and African American Studies from the University of Oklahoma.
