Erica Godwin

Erica Godwin is a seasoned legal professional with extensive experience in practice management and legal project management. Currently serving as Director of Practice Management for U.S. Transactions at Gibson Dunn since November 2021, Erica has successfully demonstrated and implemented practice management concepts, leading to the expansion of the practice management team and enhancements across various practices. Previously, at Hogan Lovells, Erica held multiple roles including Global Head of Legal Project Management, where a global team was built to align with the firm's strategic priorities, and also served as the LPM Global Regulatory Practice Group Lead. Earlier in Erica's career at WilmerHale from January 2007 to July 2017, valuable experience was gained as an attorney and legal project manager. Erica holds a Doctor of Law (J.D.) from The Catholic University of America, Columbus School of Law and a Bachelor’s degree in Political Science and Government from William & Mary.
