Patrick Stokes

Patrick Stokes is a seasoned legal professional with extensive experience in criminal law and fraud prosecution. Currently serving as a Partner at Gibson, Dunn & Crutcher LLP since September 2016, Stokes previously held significant roles at the U.S. Department of Justice, including Chief of the FCPA Unit and Chief of the Securities and Financial Frauds Unit within the Criminal Division. Stokes also served as a Senior Trial Attorney in the Fraud Section and was an Assistant United States Attorney in the Eastern District of Virginia. Earlier in Stokes's career, Stokes worked as a Trial Attorney in the Tax Division's Western Criminal Enforcement Section. Stokes earned a Doctor of Law (JD) from the University of Virginia School of Law and a Bachelor of Arts in History from the University of Virginia.
