Rob Walters

Rob Walters is an experienced attorney currently serving as a Partner-in-Charge and member of the Executive Committee at Gibson, Dunn & Crutcher LLP since March 2011, specializing in commercial litigation, including antitrust, securities, and class action cases. Prior to this role, Rob held the position of Executive Vice President and General Counsel at Energy Future Holdings from February 2008 to March 2011, during which time also acted as General Counsel until March 2012. Rob's legal career began at Vinson and Elkins, where a partnership role was held from 1990 to 2008. Rob holds a Doctor of Law (J.D.) from The University of Texas School of Law, obtained between 1980 and 1983, and a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) from The University of Texas at Austin, completed in 1980.
