Steve Mills is an accomplished engineering professional with extensive experience in the audio electronics industry. Currently serving as the Director of Engineering at Audio Electronics & Acoustics since January 2019, Steve has also held various prominent positions at Gibson Guitar, including R&D Manager, R&D Consultant, and Director of Product Engineering. Previously, Steve worked at Ultra Electronics as Engineering Development Manager, focusing on next-generation voice amplifier developments and NFPA STI test spec creation. Steve’s career began at Crown International (Harman Pro), where project management and design were pivotal roles. Steve holds a Master of Science in Acoustics, Electronics from Purdue University and a Bachelor of Science in Electronics from the same institution, supplemented by professional training from Caltech in integrated strategic planning and marketing of technology products.
