Kaushik Venkataraman began their work experience in 2011 as a Lieutenant in the Singapore Army. In 2013, they worked as an Intern for the Ministry of Trade and Industry in Singapore. The following year, in 2014, they became a Teaching Assistant at Cornell University. In 2015, they interned at Goldman Sachs. Kaushik started working at GIC in 2016 as an Intern and later moved up the ranks, becoming an Associate in 2017, an Assistant Vice President in 2020, and eventually a Vice President in 2023. At GIC, they are part of the Multi Asset Quant Solutions team, where they develop and manages systematically traded credit portfolios.
Kaushik Venkataraman attended Raffles Institution from 2005 to 2010, where they obtained their GCE 'A' Levels in Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics, and Economics. Kaushik further pursued their education at Cornell University from 2013 to 2016, earning a Bachelor of Science (BSc) in Operations Research & Computer Science. In 2016, they attended the University of Oxford and completed their Master of Science (MSc) in Financial Economics. Kaushik Venkataraman also holds a certification as a Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) from the CFA Institute, obtained in 2022.
