Shabeer Basha

Shabeer Basha is an experienced professional in data management and innovation, currently serving as Senior Vice President at GIC since March 2023, where responsibilities include crafting the product vision for the Master Data Management platform and leading the evaluation of enterprise solutions. Previously, as Head of Data Innovation at UOB, Shabeer established a Data Innovation team and developed the Data Quality Innovation Strategy. Additional experience includes leading Front Office Data Operations at Eastspring Investments, where Shabeer achieved operational excellence, and significant roles at Schroders, Aviva Investors, and Deutsche Bank, focusing on data analysis, operations, and project engagement. Shabeer holds a Certified Business Analysis Professional designation from the National University of Singapore and degrees from Kuvempu University in financial institutions and business management.
