William Teo

William Teo is a Lead Data Scientist at GIC, specializing in machine learning engineering and natural language processing. With extensive experience across the cloud and AI stack, they have led teams in developing AI/ML products to enhance public agency operations. Previously, as a Senior Engineer at GovTech Singapore, they contributed to foundational work in data science for public service, including the development of an end-to-end platform for transport planning. They also held roles at Grab and DSO National Laboratories, focusing on data infrastructure and human-computing systems. William holds a Master's degree in Virtual Reality and Haptics Interface and a Bachelor's degree in Bioengineering from the National University of Singapore.
