Wilson Koh has over 17 years of experience in finance and treasury, with a focus on the Asia Pacific region. Wilson currently serves as Group Treasurer at Grab, a leading ride-hailing and mobile payments platform in Southeast Asia.

Previously, Wilson was with BP for over 17 years, where they held various positions including Finance Manager, Treasury Asia Pacific. In this role, they were responsible for financial risk management, project evaluations, financing and structuring, M&A and corporate restructuring, and corporate finance and cash & banking. Wilson was instrumental in leading a number of financings in Asia Pacific, including the largest financing to date: a US$2bn debt refinancing in China in 2007 with extremely competitive terms.

April Zhu has over five years of experience in the talent acquisition field. April began their career as an Associate Consultant with [Hydrogen Group](/org/hydrogen-group) in December 2013. In this role, they provided support to clients in the areas of recruitment and selection. April then joined Randstad Sourceright as a Senior Recruiter in December 2014. In this role, they were responsible for providing onsite talent acquisition support for corporate service and IT recruitment in Singapore, Malaysia, Australia, Korea and Japan. April also received several awards for their outstanding performance, including Consultant of the Year 2015 and Outstanding Achievement – Account Q1 2016.

In April 2016, April joined GIC as a Talent Acquisition Specialist. In this role, they partnered with business stakeholders in the Technology Group to manage the full recruitment life-cycle from initial candidate assessment to conducting interviews and offer management. Wawan Maulana is the current Marketing Manager for GrabFood at Grab. Prior to this, they worked as a Marketing Customer Experience Manager for [General Motors](/org/general-motors) from October 2015 to October 2018. In this role, they were responsible for leading several areas including CRM, CLM, the Customer Assistance Center, Community Relations, Social Media Care, Dealer Marketing, and Internal Campaigns. Wawan was instrumental in initiating the Customer Database Enhancement Project which successfully added more than 30,000 new customer records to the CRM system. Wawan also successfully launched 11 new CLM touchpoints with a CTR of more than 23%. In addition, they were responsible for managing the 24-hour Chevrolet Contact Center operation and actively monitored issues from the community and worked with the sales and aftersales team to resolve them. Wawan also executed training materials from the global team to local social media managers on how to handle social interaction with empathy, effective response, proper social media reporting, and brand love. Lastly, they were responsible for the effectiveness of communication at dealer sites and developed dealership brand guidelines for Indonesia that included gathering customer insights on product acceptance and awareness.

Chin Yin Ong is currently the Chief People Officer - People, Places, Security and Systems at Grab. Chin has over 15 years of experience in Human Resources and has held various leadership positions in multinational companies.

A-Young Kim is the Head of Learning and Development at Grab. Kim joined the company in 2019, and before that she founded One Within, a brand coaching company.

Lai Heng Jin is a senior finance manager who has spent their career working in various operational finance roles. Lai is currently the Director of Group FP&A at Grab, a position they have held since May 2016. Prior to that, they were the Senior Manager of Operations Finance at [Yahoo!](/org/yahoo) Southeast Asia from May 2008 to May 2016. In that role, they were responsible for driving financial planning, forecasting and reporting of financial and operating results focusing on the two key [Yahoo!](/org/yahoo) businesses of Display and Search. 

Lai Heng Jin has been recognized for their ability to create models for analysis of metrics by revenue drivers for both Search and Display businesses for all markets, which has increased forecast accuracy and facilitated decision making. Lai has also been active in costing of investment cases, rework of valuation models and integration of multiple re-orgs. As a People Manager, they have provided consistent coaching to their analysts to equip them with the necessary competencies to fulfil their roles as well as development opportunities for them to steepen their learning curve.

Jerald is a results-driven product leader who serves Grab as the Chief Product Advisor, heading the entire product, design and analytics function covering Southeast Asia. He shapes the product and design strategy and helps the team to iterate better and build out insanely usable, creative products to change peoples’ lives. He also oversees the Geo engineering team that builds the very best geo services with Grab’s partners in SEA.

Being focused on technologically complex solutions in product development, Jerald has led global product, marketing and design teams to shape impact for change at scale. Over the last decade, Jerald has been recognized as a global leader in the mobile space. Over that time, he worked with leading startups and global consumer internet companies, including [Yahoo!](/org/yahoo), Expedia and Mobiata, while leaving a track record of critically acclaimed mobile experiences.

Irina Dumbrean is the current People Operations Manager at Grab. Prior to this, they were an Employee Relations Manager at [Telenav](/org/telenav) from May 2019 to December 2019. In this role, they were highly focused on the employee management area by addressing retention, career development and learning opportunities. Irina initiated a global learning program for people managers and started a few soft skills development initiatives locally working with internal and external partners. Irina also provided full support in a M&A project, being the primary HR contact point.

From January 2014 to April 2018, Irina was the Regional HR Manager at [Telenav](/org/telenav). In this role, they were responsible for team management and development, as well as being part of senior management meetings, developing operational strategies and global integration plans. Irina also managed a team of 6 HR specialists and administrative personnel, and helped support the growth of the team from 50 to 250 employees. Additionally, they developed, revised, and recommended personnel policies and procedures for a team of 250+ employees in Romania and Germany. As an ambassador for the local team in the global culture, they were responsible for translating US and China cultural differences to the local office.

Irina was also responsible for performance review and coordination of the implementation of the performance management system on the global level in all company’s locations. Additionally, they handled recruitment for senior management positions for both Romanian and German offices, building up from scratch the recruitment team and creating recruitment strategies for all positions in the company; from junior to director level. Furthermore, they recommended new processes, procedures and approaches based on legislation changes and company’s needs, as well as coordinating the HR processes during the merge and acquisition process.

In terms of employee relationships, Irina developed and implemented a fully functional induction program, as well as an offboarding process and oversaw exit interviews. Irina also provided employee relations counseling and was actively involved in mediating employees conflicts on a local and global level. Additionally, they coordinated L&D programs and was actively involved in research and planning processes. Irina also implemented the Competency center for HR group, offering support and development for the HR team and helping managers with career development programs for individual teams.

Finally, Irina prepared budget of HR operations and oversaw budget planning for the local team. Irina also participated in the process of planning and execution of the annual compensation program, recommending and implementing pay structure revisions.

Micky Lin is currently the Marketing Lead at Grab, a Singapore-based technology company. Alex Hungate is the Chief Operating Officer of Grab, with overall responsibility for Grab’s mobility, deliveries and financial services businesses, as well as Grab’s marketing and user support functions.
