Daniel Tse has over 20 years of work experience in various roles related to IT risk management and cyber security. Daniel currently serves as the Managing Director in the Global Leadership Group at GIC, where they are also the Head of Cyber Security, Information, and Technology Risk. Prior to this, they held the position of Head of Cyber Security, Information, and Technology Risk at GIC from 2017 to 2022. Before joining GIC, they worked at UBS AG as the Executive Director and APAC Head of IT Risk from 2016 to 2017. Daniel also has extensive experience at Citi, where they held multiple positions including Head of Asia IT Risk Management, Head of Asia ICG Technology Risk & Controls, and Senior Vice President of Infrastructure Services & Application Support. Daniel has held leadership roles at other organizations such as UBS AG, Citi Global Wealth Management, Sanuk Technology Pte Ltd, Keppel T&T, Singapore Telecommunications Ltd, and Trident Infotech Pte Ltd.
Daniel Tse completed a MEngg degree in Electrical and Computer Engineering from the University of Alberta from 1995 to 1997. Prior to that, they obtained a BSc degree in Electrical and Computer Engineering from the same university from 1990 to 1995. Daniel completed their high school education at Bishop Grandin Senior High School from 1987 to 1990 and attended St. Stephen's College from 1984 to 1987. In addition to their formal education, Daniel Tse also obtained certifications in ITIL v4 Foundation from PeopleCert and C|CISO from EC-Council in 2019 and 2018 respectively.
