Eric Tay

Eric Tay is an accomplished technology professional with extensive experience in cloud architecture and solution design. Currently serving as the Head of Cloud at GIC since January 2024, Tay previously held the position of Senior Cloud Architect at Amazon Web Services from July 2020 to February 2024. Prior to this, Tay was the Lead Solution Architect at GovTech Singapore and has also worked at IDA Singapore and NCS in various roles, ranging from Senior Application Consultant to Lead Consultant. With a Bachelor’s degree in Computing Science from the National University of Singapore, Tay has developed a strong foundation in technical skills, supplemented by valuable soft skills such as time management and communication gained throughout a diverse career starting at SCS.
