Helen Newell

Helen Newell is an accomplished professional in the infrastructure investment sector, serving as Managing Director of GIC Infrastructure since October 2018, overseeing a diverse portfolio across both American continents. Prior experience includes senior roles at Rio Tinto, where Helen held titles such as SVP for Infrastructure in both the Americas and Europe, and Global Head of Risk, contributing significantly to risk management frameworks and transformative operational initiatives. In addition, Helen has played pivotal roles as a Non-Executive Director in various organizations, providing strategic oversight during critical phases of growth and transition.
