Kaushik Venkataraman

Vice President at GIC

Kaushik Venkataraman has a diverse work experience starting from their role as a lieutenant in the Singapore Army from February 2011 to December 2012. Kaushik then worked as an intern at the Ministry of Trade and Industry in Singapore from January 2013 to March 2013. Following that, Kaushik interned at Goldman Sachs in June 2015. Kaushik also served as a teaching assistant at Cornell University from January 2014 to May 2016. In 2016, Kaushik joined GIC as an intern before transitioning to the role of an associate from July 2017 to May 2020. Kaushik was later promoted to Assistant Vice President in June 2020. Currently, Kaushik holds the position of Vice President in GIC's Multi Asset Quant Solutions team in the Fixed Income & Multi Asset department since June 2023, where they are responsible for developing and managing systematically traded credit portfolios.

Kaushik Venkataraman holds a Master of Science (MSc) degree in Financial Economics from the University of Oxford, which they obtained in 2017. Prior to that, they completed a Bachelor of Science (BSc) degree in Operations Research & Computer Science from Cornell University, graduating in 2016. Their education journey began at Raffles Institution, where they pursued GCE 'A' Levels in Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics, and Economics from 2005 to 2010. Additionally, Kaushik has obtained a certification as a Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) from the CFA Institute in 2022.
