Masanobu I.

Masanobu I. is a seasoned financial professional with extensive experience in investment management and equity research spanning over two decades. Currently serving as Managing Director and Senior Vice President at GIC since April 2015, Masanobu I. leads the Asia Total Return investment team, with a focus on Japan and technology sectors. Prior to GIC, Masanobu I. worked at J.P. Morgan from September 2000 to February 2015 as an Equity Research Analyst, specializing in Japanese chemicals and global autos and basic materials, where responsibilities included fundamental analysis, long-term earnings model construction, and portfolio management. Masanobu I. holds a Master’s degree in Investment Management from Cass Business School, a Postgraduate diploma from the School of Oriental and African Studies, and a Bachelor of Business Administration from Kobe University.
