Sherry Song

Sherry (Xiaoyu) Song is a seasoned professional in private equity, currently serving as a Vice President in the Direct Investment Group at GIC since November 2017, where focus areas include pan-Asia opportunities in sustainability, education, and business services. Prior experience includes a role as an Associate on the Media and Telecom team and an Analyst in the M&A Team at Morgan Stanley from July 2014 to October 2017, with an emphasis on Greater China transactions. Earlier in 2013, Sherry completed an Investment Banking Summer Analyst position in the M&A Team at Morgan Stanley. Sherry holds a Bachelor of Economics in Finance and Economics from Tsinghua University and had an exchange semester at Ivey Business School at Western University. Education commenced at Dalian No.24 High School, concluding in 2010.
