Shireesh Vasupalli

Shireesh Vasupalli is a seasoned finance professional with extensive experience in active equities and private equity. Since March 2008, Shireesh has served as Managing Director and Head of Global Active Equities at GIC, overseeing a portfolio and managing teams in London, New York, and Singapore. Prior to this role, Shireesh held positions including Portfolio Manager for Public Equities and Senior Vice President within GIC's Private Equity team, focusing on private equity transactions across South East Asia, India, and other regions. Shireesh's earlier experience includes serving as an Associate at JPMorgan Singapore in the Corporate Finance team and as a Researcher at JPMorgan in the Oil & Gas and Chemicals sectors, following a tenure as a Research Analyst at McKinsey & Company. Shireesh holds an advanced degree from the Xavier Institute of Management and has completed undergraduate studies at Devi Ahilya Vishwavidyalaya and BVK College.
