William Jones

William Jones is a seasoned professional in the field of engineering and architecture with extensive experience across significant financial institutions. Currently serving as Managing Director for Engineering & Architecture at GIC since December 2022, William has previously held pivotal roles at Citi, where responsibilities included leading the evolution of the Digital platform for Treasury & Trade Solutions as Head of Platform Engineering & Architecture. Past positions include various leadership roles at Bank of America Merrill Lynch, Credit Suisse, UBS, BNP Paribas, and others, focusing on technology within equities, prime brokerage, and derivatives. William holds a Bachelor of Arts (Honours) in Mathematics and Economics from the University of Otago.
