Josip Cesic

Josip Cesic is a CEO, board member, and Chief Technology Officer at Gideon, a company focused on AI & 3D powered autonomous mobile robots. Previously, Josip co-founded LeakLess, an IoT platform for water utility management. Josip has also worked as a postdoctoral researcher and research associate at University of Zagreb/Sveučilište u Zagrebu, focusing on visual perception and mobile robotics. Additionally, Josip has experience as a visiting researcher at University of Waterloo, working on human-robot interaction and autonomy. Josip holds a Master's degree in Mechatronics, Robotics, and Automation Engineering from Chalmers University of Technology, a PhD in Robotics and Autonomous Systems from University of Zagreb/Sveučilište u Zagrebu, and a Master of Science in Electrical, Electronics and Communications Engineering from the same university.
