Previously, Dr. Bauer served as the Global Head of Innovation and Smart Home at LEDVANCE, where they scaled the smart home business and led pioneering projects such as the development of the Biolux human-centric lighting solution. They also contributed to digital transformation initiatives at Allianz Digital Health GmbH and held various roles in innovation management and strategy across notable firms, including McKinsey & Company and Clariant. Dr. Bauer earned a Ph.D. in Chemistry and Business Management from Westfälische Wilhelms-Universität Münster, graduating magna cum laude.
