Johannes Forster

Johannes Forster is an accomplished executive with extensive experience in the financial and digital transformation sectors. Since March 2010, Johannes has served as Managing Director and CFO at Giesecke+Devrient advance52, focusing on Central Bank Digital Currency (CBDC) solutions for the global payment ecosystem. Previous roles include Managing Director, Head of Digital Transformation, Head of Strategy, Business Intelligence and M&A at G+D Mobile Security, and Executive Assistant to the CEO. Additionally, Johannes was a Member of the Shareholder Committee at Verimi and a Managing Consultant at Horváth & Partners Management Consultants. Early career experiences include positions at Siemens AG as a Company Student and Intern. Johannes holds a Master's degree in Business Administration with a focus on Innovation and Technology Management from the University of Regensburg and has studied at the School of Business, Economics and Law in Gothenburg, Sweden.
