Thomas Scholz has extensive experience in the field of sales and management, currently serving as Regional Sales Director for Central Banks in Europe at Giesecke+Devrient Currency Technology since January 1996. Scholz has also held the position of Head of the Representative Office in Moscow and previously worked as an Area Sales Representative for the Commonwealth of Independent States. Prior to this, Scholz was involved in project management and account management at Dorsch Consult/CWU, focusing on a rehousing program for returning Red Army forces from Germany. Scholz's career began in the military, where Thomas served as a Platoon Leader and Company Commander in the NVA/Bundeswehr from August 1988 to January 1993. Scholz earned a degree in Electrical Engineering and Electronics from the Military Officers Academy of Land Troops, where studies were completed in 1988.
