Vinayak Kulkarni

Vinayak Kulkarni, PMP, MBA, has a diverse work experience spanning various industries and roles. Vinayak started their career at Tata Unisys as a Systems Analyst and then moved on to Unisys as a Senior Software Engineer. Subsequently, they worked as an Independent Consultant, providing consulting services.

Vinayak then joined Oracle as a Project Lead/Managing Principal, where they led multiple ERP and Custom Implementation Projects for Oracle Customers. Vinayak also managed project activities across a globally dispersed team.

After their stint at Oracle, Vinayak worked at Vignette Corporation as an Engagement Manager, spearheading multiple concurrent implementation projects for the company's customers. Vinayak interacted with top leaders throughout the organization and proposed strategic recommendations to senior management teams.

Next, Vinayak joined Open Text Inc as a Practice Manager for Consulting/Professional Services. In this role, they managed projects and provided consulting services to clients.

Later, Vinayak worked at Mozido Inc, where they successfully managed the implementation of the Corfire/Mozido Mobile Wallet solution for multiple customers. The solution included mobile payments, transit passes, and couponing/loyalty features.

Currently, Vinayak is serving as the Head of Project Management Americas, Professional Services at Giesecke & Devrient. In this position, they lead a team of project managers and ensures the successful delivery of 60+ SAAS projects simultaneously. Vinayak also participates in pre-sales activities for sales initiatives in the region.

Vinayak Kulkarni holds a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree in Managerial Sciences & Finances from Georgia State University's J. Mack Robinson College of Business, which they obtained from 2008 to 2010. Additionally, they have a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Engineering from Walchand College of Engineering, Sangli, Maharashtra, India. Vinayak also has a Certified Scrum Master (CSM) certification from the Scrum Alliance, obtained in 2013. Vinayak is also a Certified Information Professional (CIP) from AIIM (Association for Information and Image Management) in Enterprise Information Management, obtained in 2012. Vinayak holds a Project Management Professional (PMP) certification from the Project Management Institute since 2003. Furthermore, they have additional certifications in Emotional Intelligence, Scaled Agile, ITIL Service Operation, and another Scrum Master certification.
