Achin Patel

Achin Patel has a strong background in DevOps and technical consulting. Achin began their career as an IT Team Leader at Optoma Broker Solutions, where they provided support to over 80 users and was heavily involved in setting up a new remote office. Achin then worked as a Senior System Administrator at The Brooke, where they provided technical support and maintained the organization's IT infrastructure. After that, they worked as a Technical Consultant at Alscient Limited, managing infrastructure hosted in Rackspace and migrating it to AWS. Currently, Achin is working at giffgaff as a DevOps Tech Lead, leading a team in implementing pipelines for product deployment and infrastructure management. Achin is experienced in using tools such as Helm charts, Terraform, Ansible, and Argo Rollouts.

Achin Patel obtained a Bachelor of Science (BSc) degree in Computer Science from The University of Manchester from 2002 to 2005. Achin has also earned various certifications including AWS DevOps Professional from Amazon Web Services in 2018, and certifications from Microsoft and Red Hat related to server administration and network infrastructure.
