John L. Cochrane

John L. Cochrane, MBA has a diverse work experience in various roles and industries. John L. began their career at Lorillard Tobacco as a Field Sales Representative, where they managed customer accounts and handled sales and marketing activities. John L. then joined the Boy Scouts of America as a District Executive, where they supervised a large volunteer network and successfully secured increased individual donations.

In 2007, John joined Gifford's Famous Ice Cream, starting as a Regional Sales Manager/Business Development Manager. John L. successfully partnered with a large family restaurant chain and helped them establish a prominent ice cream stand. John L. later took on the role of Director of Food Service, Mid-Atlantic Division, where they focused on expanding the business in non-core sales markets through SKU rationalization and wholesaler development.

John's exceptional performance led him to be promoted to the position of Director of Food Service, Northeast, where they realigned the sales team to focus on channel/wholesaler management and ROI analysis of all sales programs. Additionally, they standardized SOPs and budgeting, enabling consistent reporting and P&L awareness. Currently, they hold the position of VP of Sales at Gifford's Famous Ice Cream, where they continue to lead and contribute to the company's growth and success.

John L. Cochrane earned a Bachelor's degree with a dual major in History and Interdisciplinary Studies (Business and Government Management) from Plymouth State College. John L. later obtained a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree from Plymouth State University.
